The Coach & Horses is a friendly, community-led pub with a traditional two-room layout of a separate lounge and bar. Situated in part of the local Draycott heritage area, it offers a choice of well-kept cask ales with at least two of them constantly changing. It also has a wide range of Lagers. ciders, wines, spirits, and bar snacks. Periodically, there is live music and other popular entertainment/events include the regular monthly Jam Night/Open mic, Karaoke and during the summer months, Bike Nights. There is also a large TV projection screen in each room, when required for sporting events, etc. The pub is family and dog-friendly, and features a nice "sun trap" beer garden/patio area, plus a covered smoking shelter. Although conveniently situated on the main bus route between Nottingham and Derby, there is also a good-sized car park too.
